Hasan Askari Miya arrives in the UK

On Saturday 10 October 2009, Fazile e Uloom e Islamiya, Fazile e Baghdad, Hazrat Allama Mowlana Sayyad Muhammad Hasan Askari Ashrafi Jilani (Kichocha Sharif, India) arrived on his first visit to the United Kingdom. Hasan Akari Miya is the successor to the shrine of Hazrat Muhaddis e Azam e Hind (i.e Naa’ib Sajjada and Wali Ahad) chosen by Shaykh ul Islam Hazrat Madani Miya Ashrafi Jilani to carry on after him in his place.

Hasan Askari Miya completed his Dars e Nizami in India, thereafter studied for a period of five years at Baghdad University and on his return to India completed a two year course specializing on the topic of ‘Tafsir e Qura’n' at Jamia Nizamia, Hyderabad, India.

He has since been teaching at Darul Uloom Ahle Sunnah, Jabalpur and is the institution’s current Shaykh ul Hadith. He has started to visit various towns and cities in India on lecturing/preaching tours and has also been to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Zambia. He has also performed the Hajj.

On Sunday 11 October 2009 he gave his first speech at the Muhaddis e Azam Mission Education Centre in Blackburn and at the request of some people including Mufti Ayub Ashrafi (Bolton) gave a very short speech in Arabic on Tuesday 13 October 2009 at Masjid e Noorul Islam in Bolton.

Hasan Askari Miya’s speaking schedule in the next few days is:

15 October 2009 at Masjid e Madani, 225c Ravenshouse Road, Dewsbury after Magrib
16 October 2009, Jamia Masjid, Whittaker Street, Batley before Jumma Salah. The speech will start at 1.15pm
17 October 2009, Raza Mosque, Preston after Magrib
18 October 2009, Gausia Mosque, 23-27 Warren Street, Savile Town, Dewsbury after Magrib.
